Fishing Report 10

Weather for the week.
Monday
N swinging to an E later in the morning gusting 18 with rain forecast in
the afternoon. Max temp 21. Barometer 1012 dropping to 1007. Wave Height 2m
dropping to 1.8 period 10.
Tuesday
NE swinging to a SW later in the morning gusting 19 with rain forecast
in the evening. Max temp 24.Barometer 1005. Wave height 1.5m period 9.
Wednesday
SW with some rain early on then the wind swings to an E gusting 13, with
some rain forecast in the evening. Max temp 24. Barometer 1007 dropping to 999
by late afternoon. Wave height 1.5m P 10.
Thursday
SW with some rain in the morning gusting 21 by the evening. Max temp 21.
Barometer 1009 rising to 1015. Wave height 2m rising to 2,6m period 11.
Lagoon.
Don’t be shy to tackle up when fishing the lagoon, there were a few bust
ups in the main car park, the blame is squarely on the Diamonds. Crabs seem to
be stealing baits and made a strong showing to the left of the car park on
Saturday afternoon. The water is still a bit murky and with rain forecast on
most days it looks to remain like this all, week.
Surf.
Saturday morning there was a strong side wash from the North, this is
very unusual but as the tide pushed in it slackened off, this made sliding
impossible however the fishing improved with lots of Snapper Cob and big Shad
been landed. No big non eds but plenty of baby sharks. Catch of the day had to
be a Grunter on a 3/0 hook, the hook was bigger than its head. Water colour is
good for Cob and with no wind this morning those that have ventured down to the
beach will be in with a chance.
Ski Boat.
Richards Bay seems to be the place to launch from for the next few days,
or you can push off the beach. The bay is still very much discolored from the
weather we had last week. Today with no wind at the moment the sea looks very
bumpy from the wind we had yesterday.

We currently have 9 types of bait in stock and they are all working
however the hottest combos at the moment are Bait Prawn, Sard and Chokka.
