Grunter are still in the Lagoon and so are some very nice size River Bream, don’t be scared to use 3 to 4/0 hooks during the day, if you do get a Grunter on a small hook, take it easy as you can pull the hook.

Things are happening in the surf on a big scale I have heard of 3 breakoffs this week alone and the culprit or culprits has yet to be identified. Tomorrow is the last day for Shad, from Sunday it becomes a put back species for the next month.

Ski Boat.

Not a good week to be on the sea, we are planning on going out on Sunday or Monday as we have 2 charters booked. Let’s hold thumbs as the last few weeks have been bad. This weekend is beach launching if you want to go early as the river mouth will be to shallow.

News from the Shop.

It seems early but worth putting a Mac out.
