Still muddy in places but areas like the main car park especially the area to the left of the stumps has produced some nice fish, the Beaumont Family can attest to this and caught some nice size Spotted Grunter on Sard.
Since last Thursday evening Shad of over 4kg have been landed not a few but at least 10 that I know of together with some Cat Face Rockcod one which measured 55cm or 2kg. There were smaller Shad in the mix and some Juvenile Greys of around 20kg caught on Shad trace, 2 that I know of but apparently more were caught. Looking forward to the week ahead with the NE blowing there is no reason why one cannot target these big Shad. Sea Barbells are still being landed, eat them they the same family as Kingklip.
Great weekend for Couta with lots of over 20kg boated, bottoms were scarce but those that were caught were of good size. With not a lot of bird activity no many Natal Snoek or Tuna were caught. Still waiting on confirmation on whether any Geel Beck were caught off Amatikulu. Over all a good weekend for some. This week tomorrow and Thursday look like the best days to Launch.
News from the Shop.
