Friday
Strong SW gusting 28, Max temp 20. Rain forecast all day from late
morning. B1017 rising to 1021. Wave height 1.4 and rising throughout the day to
3.3m Period 7
Saturday
Strong SW gusting 24 with heavy rain forecast in the morning. Max temp
19. B 1023 dropping to 1021. Wave height 3.4, period 10
Sunday
Strong SW gusting 30, Max temp 17 Rain forecast in the afternoon. Barometer
1018 dropping to 1016 Wave Height 3.2m rising to 3.5m. Period 10.
Lagoon.
Was a very quiet week on the lagoon, with very little fish activity.
Yesterday we tried our spots and only caught crabs and big ones. With the
weather we having over the weekend, it looks like the place to fish. Live baits
could result in some nice surprises but this needs patience.
Surf.
Surf was still active during the week, lots of Shad and Pompano were
caught. The wind that came through last night has churned the surf so expect
week and a side wash……..time to clean the tackle box me thinks.
Ski Boat
Wednesday was the best fishing day and the anglers who went out were
rewarded with Couta, Cave Bass, Soldiers, Singer and Squaretail Cob to name a
few. Although the swell was up and made for a bumpy day fishing, the rewards
were good. Seems like this could mean the beginning of the winter Ground Swell.
