Been the best place to fish due the weather we had for the last 2 weeks
although there was a rest bite on the weekend. Grunter and Cob are the main
species been targeted and caught but the River Snapper are back to their
evasive selves. There are still a lot of baby Honeys and Browns in the river,
great fun on light tackle.
Surf.
The monster seas have settled and the water color is getting back to
normal. The side wash has died down all we need is to get rods in the water.
This weekend was slow and nothing beside rats and mice were landed.
Ski Boat
Finally there was a break and the sea flattened and both game and bottom
fish were caught in decent number. Couta and Tuna were the only game caught and
from the bottom, King Fish GT, a 6.5kg Rubber lip and a “Wilde Perd” of 1.8kg and
the usual catch of Shoal Cob (mainly square tail) and Slinger
News from the Shop.
We have new friends in our tank and are settling well. We expect a busy
weekend in the shop and have several bait orders in already for our visitors.
Fishing is going to be awesome this weekend for all 3 styles. Tight Lines. The
