Tuesday
Starts off with
a SE gusting 26 , not good for beach sea fishing although the barometer starts
at 1013 and drops through the day to 1008, good for fishing……..2 conflicting
messages….
Wednesday
Again windy SE
swinging to a E gusting 27kts settling down in the even to 16knts, still a
blustery day with a flat barometer 1008-1007.
Thursday.
Good fishing
day wind starting at 3kts reaching a maximum of 8knts barometer great starting
at 1010 peaking at 1012 before dropping to 1006. Wave height 1.1m with a 13
period. Best conditions all week.
Lagoon.
Not fishing
very well at the moment due to all the rain we had, just go there to braai and
chill.
Surf
Friday and
Saturday were 2 good days for fishing, the Banks and Port Dunford produced the
most, one club from the South Coast caught 2 tons of Diamonds during the
fishing period at the banks. Friday night and Saturday produced some Diamonds
at Port Durnford but we have not heard if any big sharks were landed. Main beach in front of the Siyayi was busy
with edibles and small sharks. Sunday was a wash out.
Ski Boat.
Saturday was a
great day for fishing, Couta and Amber Jack were boated at High Point by
Frigate while the guys who fished the shallow reefs were well rewarded with
Cob, Slinger, Englishmen and Rockod.
