Lagoon.
Due to the incumbent weather we have been not a lot of fishing has taken
place at the lagoon which is a pity as it is school holidays.
Surf.
We still have a big sea today however the good news is the side wash
seems to be dropping and some of my informants are going to have a bash today,
however we still think from tomorrow things will get better. The surf seems to
be stable at nearly 2 m with Sunday looking the best day.
Ski Boat.
On Tuesday morning we took advantage of the weather
and we out for a quick trip with a mother and her two sons, they were treated
to have dolphins swimming next to the boat and some great whale sightings. They
did manage to catch some Slinger to the delight of the boys especially young
Alex as it was his first trip out to sea, after fishing for a while it was decided
to return early to avoid the onset of the incumbent weather. Meanwhile one of
my informants (who also does guiding) took his Fish Ski to Zinkwazi and had an
action packed morning fist catching Red Eye and Massbankers for bait he then
set about fishing and managed some nice fish: 2 x Bonnies at over 8kg, 1x
Yellow fin Tuna at 5.5kg and a very nice Garrick of 15kg.
