Mouth still closed but this week fishing has been good numbers and species wise but only little ones so far. It is filling up which is a good thing as the level must be high enough above sea level, here is the catch it must happen soon as the sea is still pushing sand up the beach.
A guy walked into the shop on Monday to by a rod as he left his middle piece at home (Vereeniging) he chose a 12ft spinning rod and said he would drop it of today to give it to whoever we want, as this was happening Caroline walked into the shop and she said she would like it as she does not have one. Today Ben dropped the rod off for her, thank you Ben you made someone very happy, we hope you caught lots of fish. Fishing has been good in the mornings with lots of Snapper about and another big Diamond caught on a Sard bait casted in for Snapper Cob, the angler said he got such a fright as he was fishing light.
See gone very dirty again after the SW in the week. A few weeks ago the shop scooped 3 prizes at the Umlalazi Ski Boat Club awards. Biggest Couta, Biggest Edible and the biggest Game Fish out of Competition we would also have had the most unusual catch but for some reason it was not awarded, this would have given us a 4th Trophy.
