I believe there was very little activity in the lagoon over the weekend with some anglers reporting they did not even have a bite. Yesterday was a great day at the lagoon as there was no wind so by just going down there must have been fun on its own. Yesterday the fish in the tank in the shop were also not very active however today the swimming around looking for food left over from breakfast.
On Saturday afternoon we headed out to the banks for a session and upon arriving at the banks there was a strong North South side wash so we decided to head back as we arrived in the car park 2 more groups of guys arrived and after much deliberation they decided to give it a crack as they had driven from Durban and Pietermaritzburg. They did get some lines in but packed up because of the weed, further south another group not effected by the weed sat it out till midnight without even having a bite, which must have been frustrating to say the least. Yesterday was not much better, although the conditions were good fishing remained slow however a small Kob and Shad was landed and Zane got a massive Puffer on a live mullet. The best fishing day seems to be Tuesday which if we look back to last Tuesday the weather seems to be the same, it looks like we have another front coming through on Wednesday
Nothing to report
